Job Requirements:
- B.S. or M.S. in EE or CS equivalent professional experience and training.
- At least 5 years professional experience in embedded or networking software development.
- Must have contributed code to an open source project.
- Knowledge or experience in most of the following areas required: embedded systems software; Linux kernel; RTOS; TCP/IP; design and development of device drivers; file system configuration and maintenance; boot loaders; 802.11; make, subversion, and install scripts, upgrade scripts; assembly and C/C++ programming; bash, and python scripting languages.
- Must be methodical, detail-oriented, have a thorough approach to problem-solving, have good communication skills and have a team-oriented work ethic.

cozybit is looking for a Junior Engineer to join our team and work on exciting projects. We strive to emphasize the use of open source and work on a variety of systems including toys, media systems, networked devices, and more. Some of our systems are real live products, and others are prototypes and proofs of concept.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in EE, CE, or CS, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with Linux and development in Linux: gcc, shell scripting, compiling your own kernel, etc.
- Strong C programming skills, assembly languages a plus.
- Familiarity with Python a plus.
- Experience with version control (especially svn or git) a definite plus.
- Basic hardware and test equipment experience is helpful.
